Antonio Conte Shockingly Reveals What His Wife Dislikes About Football

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has revealed his wife, Elisabetta never wanted him to go watch Juventus match.

The Blues boss was spotted in the stands last Sunday in Turin after his side’s 3-1 win over Arsenal a day before. But Conte has now revealed his wife did not like the idea of him getting engaged with football activities even on his day-off.

The Italian boss said: “When I told my wife I was going to watch Juventus she wasn’t happy,
“She said, ‘Why? Stay with us – your daughter and your wife.’ But sometimes it’s not easy to explain to my wife my choice when I have a day off.

“On Sunday, all day I watched games on TV — the English games, [with] City and United, and then Italian games.

“My wife didn’t know football before me.

“Her parents never watched a game of football and on Sundays would go for a walk or a bike ride. Now I have involved her family and they are the first supporters.”

Chelsea play Burnley at the Turf Moor on Sunday as they build on their success in the Premier league.
