Drake was due to play a show at Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome on Monday night as part of his Boy Meets World tour. However, the March 27 show was called off at the last minute with thousands of fans already in place at the venue.
XXL points to a tweet from one fan claiming that it took 75 minutes for an announcement to be made to the packed venue, at which point a rep told the audience that Drake would not be performing due to illness. Word on the web has it Drizzy was feeling sick after smoking too much marijuana (quick reminder weed is legal in The Netherlands), that’s just a report. Anyway, the Canadian was under doctor’s orders not to perform.
The show has been moved to Wednesday, March 29. Drake had performances in Amsterdam originally scheduled for January 20 and 21, and then moved to January 26 and 27 before being postponed another time to March 27 and 28. (Two other shows in Amsterdam, rescheduled to January 28 and February 26, went on as planned.)
