On Tuesday, Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson was appointed by Kogi state governor, Yahaya Bello as his new Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on entertainment, arts and culture. Mercy's appointment was announced in a statement released by the Secretary to the State Government ( SSG), Folashade Ayoade and it takes effect from April 1, 2017.
